Masaka is among the district devastated by the HIV/AIDS epidemic, its neighbors are kalangala a landing site and Rakai district where the epidemic started.

Our community is highly infiltrated by all sorts of beliefs and unfortunately these very beliefs are used to oppress and disadvantage the young children , immorality ,disobedience of human rights , religious discrimination , high defilement and rape crimes, sex working etc and the threat to the mushrooming religious denominations while the social conditions that contribute to gender -based violence in our country are complex and rooted in our divided past

Violence against Women

The greater empowerment of women will go a long way to strengthening the fight against dependency on husbands , fathers, partners and family members which has increased women’s vulnerability to domestic violence , rape, incest, abuse and murder.

The reality is that many of these women are more likely to stay in abusive relationships because they fear being left destitute and homeless . moreover, the culture of violence against women in our communities is often manifested at a young age as it is reflected mostly in our communities.

The situation for many women is also often worsened by poor access to education as well as reproductive health risks , society’s restrictive gender norms , discrimination in employment and lack of support systems

SEWING MACHINES FOR 10 SINGLE MOTHERS

Donating to our women empowerment center to help us buy 10 sewing machines for 10 women under our support programs ,This will be a skills training center for the less fortunate women and girls in our communities where they will be free to come and learn how to make a living and acquiring skills that will change their future Here is how you can support us

SEX EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Here we raise our heads high because now we are helping our young generation know the dangers of early pregnancies and how it affects their future.

Join the papa crew to help us meet a big number of people and children to spread the awareness about the rising beasts that are disturbing the female gender
